Hello
My name is Allison, and I'm a high school Family and Consumer Sciences teacher and I'm here to help! I teach kids how to cook all day, and I can teach you too. Part of learning to cook is planning, and budgeting. It's through these activities that we can see where there's a savings. A box of Mac and cheese seems cheap, until you realize it's way more expensive than just making it yourself (and it tastes way better!).
My Story
I spent 15 years in corporate sales. After the pandemic hit, I did what everyone did and started cooking again. Sourdoughs lead to ice cream, and that lead to the now 14 vegetable garden beds that dot my property. It is through those "victory gardens" that I found what I was missing in sales. I went back to school to get a Masters in Teaching, and am now a Family and Consumer Sciences teacher in the Twin Cities.
